Key Takeaways
If you run a restaurant or an agency on GloriaFood, an email from Oracle probably put FoodAmigos on your radar. The partner notice gave you a hard date and a name. It did not give you a price list, a contract or a track record. This Food Amigos review fills that gap with what the company has actually published, including the parts that sit outside the headline price.
Disclosure: Restolabs publishes this guide, and we compete with FoodAmigos for GloriaFood customers. Our rule for this article is simple: every claim about FoodAmigos links to something FoodAmigos published, except one point flagged as reseller-reported, and where it is the better fit, we say so.
How we reviewed it: We read Oracle's notice, FoodAmigos' main site, its GloriaFood migration page and partner pricing, its German-language platform terms dated May 28, 2026, its legal notice and its Trustpilot page. Everything below was checked on October 16, 2026.
Why FoodAmigos is on your radar
Oracle says GloriaFood is unavailable after April 30, 2027, offers no direct replacement, and pointed its partners to FoodAmigos.
The notice, titled "Oracle GloriaFood End of Life: Advance Partner Notification and Optional Transition Information," describes FoodAmigos as a provider with onboarding resources, technical capabilities and a partner program. Oracle says restaurant customers get their own notification about five days after the partner email, and that service and partner agreements continue until the last date of service.
Read that carefully. Oracle listed FoodAmigos as an option. It did not certify it, price it or promise anything on its behalf. That is why so many restaurant owners and agencies are searching for a review before they commit.
The clock matters too. From the date we checked, about six and a half months remain. A careful move needs a pilot restaurant, a cutover and a buffer, which is less slack than it sounds.
What is FoodAmigos?
FoodAmigos is an all-in-one ordering, website, app, loyalty and marketing platform run by Foodamigos GmbH in Germany.
Its legal notice names Foodamigos GmbH in Bonn, registered at Amtsgericht Bonn under HRB 26506. The main site is German-first and describes more than 4,000 restaurants on the platform, a self-reported figure. The product list is broad: direct ordering, a restaurant website, a branded app, loyalty, email and SMS marketing, AI agents for customer questions and review replies, and a fixed-price delivery fleet.
That breadth is a real strength, and it is why FoodAmigos deserves a serious look. The question is what the package costs once you read past the headline.
How much does FoodAmigos cost?
The headline price is $35 per restaurant per month. The full cost lives in three different documents.
The main pricing page says all features are included with no extras, yet the terms list charges for the app and hardware, plus a one-time setup fee. None of this is hidden, but it is scattered, and the amount you actually pay depends on which document your order form points to.
What 0% commission means. FoodAmigos says it takes no percentage of each direct order. That is true of most direct-ordering platforms, including Restolabs, and it does not mean the restaurant pays nothing. Subscription, payment processor fees and delivery charges still apply. Clause 5.2 also lets FoodAmigos net its fees against payouts it owes you from direct orders.
The contract terms worth reading first
FoodAmigos' terms are a reasonable German SaaS contract. For a restaurant outside Germany, they also carry some consequences that are easy to miss.
- Renewal follows the term you sign. The contract runs for the term agreed at signing and renews for the same period unless you give written notice in time (clause 6.1). FoodAmigos' marketing says monthly and cancel anytime, so check what your order form actually says.
- The best price may need a longer commitment. A 12-month term earns 15% off the setup fee and the subscription (clauses 2.5 and 3.2).
- Exports have a short window. After the contract ends you can request one data export within 30 days (clause 9.6). Handover help beyond that is a separate paid order at current prices.
- Price changes need notice, and you get an exit above 10%. If fees rise by more than 10% within twelve months, you can terminate (clause 5.3).
- Your domain moves last. A domain transfer after the contract ends is available once all claims are settled (clause 16).
- Data loss liability is capped. FoodAmigos' liability for data loss is limited to the effort of restoring it, and the terms treat daily backups of business-critical data as reasonable (clause 12.4).
- German law, German courts. The contract is governed by German law, and the venue is FoodAmigos' seat where the parties can lawfully agree that (clause 20.3). The legal text is in German, and amounts are in euros.
None of these points makes FoodAmigos a bad choice. They make it a contract you should read with a translator or a lawyer if you operate outside Germany.
FoodAmigos reviews: what customers say
FoodAmigos has a strong Trustpilot profile, built mostly on support, and very little independent evidence beyond it.
Trustpilot shows 4.8 out of 5 from 260 reviews. Reviewers are mostly in Germany and often thank named support staff. Trustpilot also notes that the profile is claimed with a paid subscription, that FoodAmigos has not invited customers to review recently, and that it has replied to a share of its negative reviews.
The few critical reviews are useful because they show where problems appear. One 2-star review from February 2026 describes a delivery where the driver forgot an item, and a refund that took four attempts and almost three weeks before support resolved it. A single review proves nothing, but it points at the two areas to test: delivery and refunds.
Beyond Trustpilot, we found no FoodAmigos product pages on G2 or Capterra, and the Apple App Store page for its ordering app did not have enough ratings to display a score.
Where FoodAmigos is a strong fit
- Restaurants and resellers targeting the German market. The product, the terms and the euro pricing are built for Germany, and its site promises "our German expert team is here for you 24/7" in German.
- Restaurants delivering in European cities. Its delivery page names Uber Direct, Wolt and Lieferando, which suit EU markets.
- Agencies with 20 or more locations. The $25 per location partner plan is a low published per-location price for GloriaFood partners.
- Restaurants looking for the lowest published entry price. FoodAmigos lists plans starting at $35. Restolabs offers special GloriaFood migration pricing at a matching price point. Resellers bringing in higher volumes of clients can also benefit from flexible, volume based pricing.
Where you should compare more carefully
- Anyone outside Germany. You would be signing German-language terms in euros under German law, with a German entity behind them, and converting euros to dollars on every fee. Ask whether product support is available outside German working hours in your time zone and language.
- POS-dependent kitchens. FoodAmigos names Toast, Clover, Genius and Revel, but its pages say both "100+" and "200+" integrations and publish no directory. Ask whether each POS is a direct integration or runs through a middleware provider such as Deliverect, which needs its own subscription on top of FoodAmigos. Ask which payment processors it supports outside Germany, because few partners are detailed. Then ask for the exact integration, live on your account.
- Anyone who needs to budget precisely. The all-in cost depends on setup, app and hardware lines that sit outside the subscription. Resellers also report a $1 per order fee that its website does not mention. We could not verify it, so ask. At 30 orders a day, $1 per order would be $30 a day, about $900 a month, on top of the subscription.
- Anyone who wants to leave cleanly. One export within 30 days of termination is a narrow window for customer and order data.
- Anyone who needs proof outside Germany. Almost all of its reviews come from Germany. Ask for a reference from a restaurant in your market that uses your POS and payment processor.
FoodAmigos vs Restolabs, side by side
Both are commission-free direct ordering platforms. They differ on how openly they price, which markets they serve and how a migration works.

Our read: FoodAmigos is a strong option if you are a restaurant or reseller targeting the German market, where it has built its business. For a global audience across the USA, UK, Canada, South America, Australia, Europe and Asia, Restolabs is the stronger choice. It has served these markets for longer, has stronger traction there, bills in USD, integrates directly with POS systems and lets you watch your migration happen live before go-live.
How a GloriaFood migration works at Restolabs
Enter your GloriaFood URL. Watch your restaurant migrate to Restolabs. See what your customers will experience after the switch on a live call.
- Share your GloriaFood URL. During a call, your menu, categories, prices, modifiers, images, hours, delivery zones and branding are brought across, and you see the migrated page before the call ends.
- Review and approve. Nothing goes live until you sign off. There is no manual rebuild.
- Connect payments, POS and delivery. Restolabs supports 50+ payment gateways, POS systems including Toast, Clover, Genius, Revel and PAR, and delivery through DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct and Grubhub Connect. Your onboarding specialist handles the configuration, and existing printers usually keep working.
- Test, train and switch. Run demo orders, check delivery settings, train staff, then replace the GloriaFood link on your website with your new ordering page. Most restaurants go live in under a week.
The program launched in May 2026, with special migration pricing for GloriaFood restaurants and resellers, a 30-day free trial with no credit card, and 24/7 direct chat and email support. Schedule a call to get the special GloriaFood migration pricing and see your restaurant migrated live.
What we do not claim. Our migration page covers menus and settings, not customer records or order history. Whichever platform you choose, export your customer list and order history from the GloriaFood admin yourself before the end date.
For agencies and resellers. Lead with portfolio migration, business continuity and white-label control. Restolabs offers exclusive GloriaFood migration pricing designed to help resellers with multiple locations switch at a comparable price point, flexible pricing for resellers who bring in high-volume clients, and one-click migration: paste a GloriaFood ordering URL and a Restolabs ordering page is created in minutes. Partner pricing covers batches of 20, 50 or 100+ accounts, and you keep your clients' branding and ordering configuration. See the GloriaFood alternative page for resellers.
For restaurants. Lead with one-click migration, a better ordering experience, delivery integrations and affordability. Enter your GloriaFood URL, review the migrated page on a live call and approve it before any customer is sent there. Ordering is available in 10+ languages, including Spanish and French.
Eight questions to ask FoodAmigos, Restolabs and anyone else
Put these to every vendor and get the answers in writing, then compare them side by side.
- What is the all-in monthly and one-time cost for my setup? Include setup, app, website, delivery, hardware and processor fees, in my currency.
- Which document governs my deal? Ask which one wins if the marketing page, the migration offer and the platform terms disagree.
- What is the contract term, renewal period and notice deadline?
- What can I export, in what format, how fast and at what cost? Ask about customers and order history, not just menus.
- Which of my POS, printer, payment and delivery tools are live for restaurants in my market today?
- How do payouts, refunds and chargebacks work?
- What are support hours, channels and response targets in my time zone and language?
- Can I speak to a restaurant that migrated from GloriaFood with a setup like mine?
The verdict on FoodAmigos
FoodAmigos earns a place on the shortlist, and it should not win by default.
It is a real company with a strong support reputation, a low published entry price and Oracle's mention behind it. It is strongest for restaurants and resellers in Germany and the EU. For restaurants outside Germany, the euro pricing, German-language terms, setup and app fees, and short export window make it worth comparing against a platform that bills in USD, integrates directly with your POS and lets you watch the migration live before go-live.
That is the case for Restolabs: GLobal presence, USD billing, direct POS and delivery integrations, one-click migration, special GloriaFood migration pricing and a 30-day free trial. Schedule a call to get the special GloriaFood migration pricing and see your restaurant migrated live.
